I’ve put together a short video of our trip to Carcassonne, Almeria, La Rochelle and Guernsey. No audio this time, I used the wrong recorder input, so some nice music instead.

Leaving Carcassonne we were at gross and had a long time to climb to 9000’. Later on I discovered we flew along the lee side of a Mountain range. The wind flowing over the mountain causing a pretty bad downdraft. You and I were on the same freq and he kept calling my plane slow traffic. Well at 90 Kts and sometimes slower I now know why.

C210 some of us regard slow as a badge of honour, it at least sounds better than when lining up at Linate for the northern SID ATC announce you will be a low performance departure!
