Looking for data, opinions and even folklore re. Piper Navajos

I have a client that’s looking seriously into buying a Piper Navajo in the UK.

I’m interested in getting some “inside” info and the maintenance side and of course what to look out for that’s particular to the type.

Pros:

Solid
Good load-lugger
Quite fast
No ‘critical engine’

Cons:

Thirsty
Some parts are getting rare (undercarriage, control surfaces etc).
Nose wheel steering can crack the nose-leg if not careful
Most UK airframes have been worked very hard – corrosion.

Fly safely
Various UK. Operate throughout Europe and Middle East, United Kingdom
