Diamond DA-40 D and DA-40-TDI same ?

Small question. I am using myflightbook.com/ as electronic logbook.
In the aircraft section I can find DA40-TDI but not DA40 D while this is mentioned on the aircraft document.
A quick search on the web seems to indicate that it is the same plane but with different naming between EU and Canada. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diamond_DA40 DA40
Of course I can create a new type, but if it is the same plane it does not make much sense.
Any views on this is more than welcome.
