I did alot of spins in T67M260 (one that was based at Stapleford), I would gladly spin it than C152A with dodgy WnB and missing rudder tab, the only time I felt close to dying in a Firefly was a mid-air collision overhead haningfield reservoir in middle of a roll bu I was so disapointed by it’s roll rate that I did quit aerobatics
Yes something weired with USAF accident numbers (spins & others) on T67, I had the impression it was earlier models but I checked again and it’s indeed the 260hp variant, to my expectation people at the academy should not be surprised by T67s spin technique: it’s far more simpler than T37s with about 10 non-intuitive items in it’s spin checklist…
