Looks good…how much do you think to bring it onto the D or G reg tho?

Looks pretty good I agree.

Questions for a pre-buy:

50 hours engine TTSO (premium overhauled and installed – end of 2014), 50 hrs propeller TSN (new and instaled – end of 2014).

What is a “premium overhaul”? What was the reason for both engine and prop new?

Other than that, I’d think a good pre-buy would be in order, if that one does not reveal anything, I’d say go for it. Certainly a very nice airplane for a reasonable price.

This plane had some damage history when it was registered LN-TFM:

Google translate is your friend when not mastering Norvegian :-)

Same price range and with a weather radar:

Yes, but for the rest, totally stone-age avionics…

Yeah but with 150h in 10 years you can directly factor in the overhaul cost…

Appears this accounts for the new engine and prop then

If I was in the market for a P210 I would rather go for the German one (acknowledging that it is a hangar queen) and both had previous damage:

Apologies to all Romanians here but a “special holiday huge price reduction” together with “Cluj, Romania” is likely how a lot of fraud stories begin. Then it is “VAT free” which may be a huge burden when transferring this to a “western” registration, possible up to 30k€ right here.. “SIDs done”’from a German maintenance amounting to the quoted 30k€ also sounds reassuring but of course would need to be itemized.

The avionics for the Romanian plane are not that ultra modern that I would not consider an upgrade although the GNS430W and the Stec55 are a good start.. For the German 210 you would “only” need to invest some 30k€ for a GTN750/650 with a radar interface so may be able to get rid of the ugly Bendix CRT. Of course you would still fly a 30-year old airframe with a relay driven autopilot..

..just my 2 cents..

Romania being EU you can keep it on YR reg if you want… No need to transfer.

Shorrick: would you REALLY want to be ramp-checked everywhere you go? :)
