Well, actually, it can be greater than that – ask any skydiver. Yeah, a poor glide ratio for sure, but skydivers in freefall can make progress over the ground.

Hehe, nice idea, although nowadays a drone would probably do that job easier, cheaper, better and with less chance of detection.
I heard Gatwick has some experience with mystery drones. Just don’t tell them you spotted a jetpack, they might close the airport indefinitely in search of it.

When I landed there in March it looked like closed airport
