We visited EHTX in Spetember 2018, hotel was reopened then. Very much agree with Arne about the food at the hotel up the road, we said at the time “very fine indeed and reasonably priced for the quality.”.
The onsite hotel and restaurant in Texel EHTX were under renovation when we visited in june 2018, so we booked the other one Hotel Texel (300m away to the NE, right by the 22 threshold) which was absolutely splendid and the food superb.
Blackpool EGNH has a Premier Inn 100m from the GA office although we chose to get a taxi to somewhere nicer in town (Hotel One South Beach).
I fully endorse the previous two posts about Southend EGMC.
We walked about 200m to a very nice aviation themed hotel at Kortijk EBKT.
We walked about a km to an acceptable B&B at Oxford EGTK.
The hotel at Texel EHTX is not so much nearby as on-site, our balcony looked down onto our aeroplane.
Skegness, no code nearest coded airfields are EGCG or EGXC, is a effectively part of a holiday camp so accommodation is probably available.
I understand that Kirkbride, no code nearest coded airfield is EGNC, has a hotel on site.

I recommend the Holiday inn at Southend EGMC. 2 minutes from the crew access to the apron, very good restaurant with a great view of the airport for reasonable prices (especially for families).
The only downside of the restaurant is you just face the primary radar, so don’t stay too long

EDAY – Gasthof Strausberg Nord (10 min down the road, right by the S-Bahn terminal)
EDMV – Vilshofen (the city center is right across the bridge over the Donau, a 15 min walk)
I ended up booking at a chambre d’hotes (run by a Belgian couple, very welcoming on the phone), 10 minutes walk from Epernay LFSW, in the heart of the champagne. Unfortunately someone broke the plane a few hours before my trip so I never found out. Still, worth knowing for Champagne lovers.
