This German (or Austrian?) guy has now departed the North of Alaska, planning to go all the way to the south of Argentina, in a Super Cub.

His name is Paul Guschlbauer from Austria (originally from LOWG). Great guy! He is a pro paraglider (red bull x-alps) and pilot. There is some impressive material out there of his adventures.

Some STCs take the MAUW to 2,000 lbs (more in Experimental) giving 800lbs useful. Similar to an early Cessna 180.
Even the baby -95 has a typical useful load of 600 lbs.
