I am planning a trip to Jordan in May, and rent a plane for a little tour. Does anyone have experience in renting there ? Something like a 1{5,7,8}2, some variant PA28 or a DA40.
I’ve seen there are some Schools, and I’m planning to call them and see if one can self hire (after the customary check out), but would appreciate if someone had actual experiences.
I obviously don’t plan to fly near risker (borders) areas

Sorry think I forgot to reply. I only had the time to do it in Aqaba. http://www.aylaaviation.com/ would do it but it was VERY expensive, I think something like 400-500 JOD (so number in GBP or EUR is higher) / hour for a DA40.
Ended up not doing it (weather was hazy too, so flight would have been much less scenic), and going to Eilat instead, by foot (which I don’t recommend, it’s really ugly. It has zero charm, with basically only malls / hotels, super ugly beach, and fairly chavy looking / unfriendly people)
