Looks nice.
I wonder how the price compares with the Icon A5?
It’ll be very restricted in the waves it can handle.
The current price from factory is 199t€, so a bit more affordable than A5 I guess.
With prototype we didn’t land over one foot waves…but we’ll test that.

Even one foot waves are a really rough ride. For runway users, imagine one foot hummocks on the runway – it’s about the same. I had occasion once to have to takeoff my Thurston Teal in greater than one foot waves (the Flight Manual says one foot maximum). The only reason it was okay, was that the wind was so strong, and steady that the takeoff was short, and the pounding minimized.
I once landed it in the lee of an island on one of our larger lakes. That afforded me the opportunity to taxi around the island, and out into the rough water – two foot waves at least. It was a rodeo, takeoff would have been impossible. I struggled to turn around to taxi back to sheltered water for takeoff.
I was flying a DHC Turbo Beaver at 6000 pounds in one foot waves last summer, it handled them okay.
