What is equally sad is that I am told another aircraft went down with the loss of 3 people also in the last few days. I am told it was a DR500 from Nantes but I have not heard or read any other details. Thought also ti have gone down in the region of the Alps, but that is again thirdbor fourth hand knowledge going around.
Correct, Col du Glandon, near Colomban-les-Villards. Flew straight into the tree tops. The person who survived was ejected on impact.
According to the article, the airplane hit a tree before crashing and bursting into flames. The surviving passenger was ejected and subsequently rescued by a cyclist, who got burns himself as a consequence. She is in grave condition in hospital.
