Some threads are long, several pages. Others are insanely long, hundreds of pages.
Just wondering, does anyone read all the posts? I just read the OP and perhaps 2-3 more if it’s interesting, or the last one and the 2-3 previous posts. Then it’s mostly pushing the “active threads”.

I read all posts except long ones in discussions that don’t particularly interest me. But at least i look at them.
I read the most. That’s the URL:
https://www.euroga.org/forums/recent-threads?nostickies=1
Shows recent threads, with a “New” indicator.

I also use this URL, for a while I was not really “aware” that there are actual sections in the forum. Likewise in others which have a similar function.
I read most of them, however what is not interesting to myself for some reason I may skip.
I don’t read all posts word by word; not possible. But I do read all posts which are interesting (flying is my hobby after all). A lot of people post great stuff so I especially read those.
I also read all posts by certain people who I know find it hard to resist dropping in something which needs to be “dealt with”
Not many of them on EuroGA these days, fortunately. But if you are an admin, you will know them
I have enough work checking new joinups, of which some 50-80% are malicious. And blocking IP ranges of attack bots; a new one every day or two. It’s a sign of EuroGA’s success that it gets attacked so much. Some other websites I look after don’t get that at all.
Just wondering. It came up in another thread about funny registrations. Some threads just go on. I don’t know. I feel the process of discussing often is much more important than the “conclusion” or “content”.
Funny registrations do go on for ever
I dip into forums, click if the title is of interest -“new” is usefull, but can be misleading when Peter moves a post to an old title…. Can’t say I read every topic though, as some are obviously of no interest to me personally.
