EASA presents new approach to GA at AERO

You have lost me there… do you mean people used FAA STCs to apply for an AAN, and the CAA wanted to see the FAA STC holder’s permission before they allowed the use of such a based-on AAN?

The FAA state in one of their ACs that they want to see the STC holder’s permission too… not sure how that actually works given that a STC-based 337 job is simply installed, the 337 is signed by an IA, and it gets sent to AFS-750 for filing.
