Expressions when pulling off a greaser

Having read this thread smoothest aircraft landings ever it got me wondering what favourite expressions people have when they pull off a really smooth landing. My own favourite for what it’s worth (and unfortunately it doesn’t apply to enough landing) is “I must have been a bird in an earlier life”.

Rochester EGTO

“Shelling peas”

EGBE (COVENTRY, UK)

When I pull off a greaser, most people say “my fillings just came out”.

Usually only my worse landings get commented with a wearily “hmpf”.

Agreed. I normally express surprise.

That felt strange, wonder what I did wrong :)

I think I had more greesers as a student than as a PPL! Probably becasue as a student, I hadn’t really developed the perceptions enough. Now it would take a much smoother landing to count as a greeser, which rarely happens as I like to land as short as possible to keep in practice with my short field landings. That really doesn’t help make them smooth.

But I suppose if it did, “Are we there yet?” might be appropriate!

The expression I use is not for public so I’ll refrain from posting.
