tomjnx,
DFS accepts flightplans terminating in Germany, but only if that flight is part of a trip that once started in Germany. So if your trip starts in, say, UK, you cannot use DFS for a flight to Germany.
Credit where credit is due - FPP was out a couple of weeks before Autoplan.
As a matter of detail, FPP was released as a first draft in early August 2008 to PPLIR members. Autoroute was released to the same group a few weeks later.
Autoroute had much better charting than the early FPP and used exclusively CFMU validation, while FPP used the RAD definition supplemented by validation. I believe Autoplan was used by a few individuals from April 2008. FPP had been used by me from I believe about May. I believe both tools were developed in complete isolation from each other until both being made available to he PPLIR forums.
