Socata TB20 Trinidad -> What is the ICAO aircraft code for flight planning purposes?

Does anyone know the true ICAO aircraft code for a TB20? I have seen it listed on important listing websites as both “TRIN” and “TB20”. Does anyone know which is correct?

Thanks in advance to Peter :-)

TRIN for both the TB20 and TB21

I think some types are more prone to people using the wrong ICAO type. The ubiquitous Piper Cherokee series causes a lot of confusion for some, as “PA28” is never correct. The right answers there are P28A, P28B, P28R, P28T, depending on the model.

You can check the correct ICAO code for your aircraft type on ICAO website.

TRIN is no longer accepted by Eurocontrol as of September 18th, specify TB20 or TB21.
