Next flying challenge

So the Meridian sold last week. Starting next phase of my flying in three weeks with a FlightSafety C510 initial.

Wow! Congratulations! Exciting!

I haven’t flown in one, but I have heard it is fantastic.

You will love it.

Darley Moor, Gamston (UK)

Nice. RVSM?

Really looking forward to it. Ground portion at Farnborough. Flying (ie sim) part in Orlando as I need FAA type rating and that is not possible in UK in C510.

Nice. RVSM?

Yes FL410. When I get a plane.

Nice one, CONGRATS!

Yes FL410.

Very nice. Would love to see it when you’re next passing “The Hall”.

The only problem I see is your move after this… you know Concorde was grounded years ago, right?

Thanks Emir! They were all out of Nokia 808s so it was the next best thing.

Cool! Great news and congrats! The advantages of turboprop over piston has been discussed at length already and it seems a Meridian or Jetprop is optimal for midrange cross European flights but we all know payload can be a problem and that the faster (turboprop) option is TBM and if more seats are needed the PC12 is an obvious option.

Would therefore be very interesting to hear your view of the main capability you were missing/lacking in the Meridian and therefore chose to step up to small jet.

Best regards,
Grassfield
