Here is another “local to the south east” flight out of Shoreham EGKA – to Mt Blanc, 900nm

Landing at Lambholm, Orkney, for the June 2021 Fly-in. The WW2 Nissen Hut to the right of the runway, near the threshold, is the Italian Chapel, beautifully decorated inside as a Catholic Church by the Italian prisoners-of-war who built the causeways linking the islands as a barrier against submarines.

the 2021 Glenforsa Fly-In seems to have been fantastic. Just after the Scottish restrictions lifted, they had good weather and lots of visitors (all from the UK obviously).
