Beautiful pics Dan. Yes, Spain has some spectacular scenery to offer for us aviators. And usually in lovely VMC. In summer during the middle of the day things get a little bumpy and one should look out for birds. The other thing to be wary about ‘when not in the FLs’ is wind turbines..

We will surely make some flying around Spain this year and always interested in seeing nice places
You did the right thing to fly along the Northern coast, as you have seen it’s quite an imposing scenery with drops of max 800 m straight into the sea. The port of Soller in the picture being the only refuge. I fly along that coast regularly and if I ever get engine problems I hope I can limp there and then pull the chute in the middle of the bay!
