Arriving IFR into Cuers with some nice late winter light

One of the most beautiful wings in GA, in my completely unbiased opinion

Awesome, those sun colours on the last picture are funny, just “be yourself while flying”

Glenart Castle:

In case you didn’t see it in the previous photo, presumably a pilot used a field to make a proposal

Grennan Maze

Powercourt Waterfall:

Powercourt Estate-hotel in foreground and historical house in the background:

Glendalough Valley:
Peter might recognise this. We hiked around the two lakes the last time he was here.

Some views across the Wicklow mountains:

Blessington lakes. Peter might also recognise these. The first time he came to Dublin we did a short flight over them.

Oh yes, remember it well

That walk around the two lakes was a great demo of GA utility. Flew over in the morning, walked around them in the afternoon (in October), and flew back next morning

Beautiful photos!

Such a pity this thread can’t be promoted to the home page banners… One needs the initial post to be fairly small and have no graphic wider than 600 pixels.

Many more people would see it then.

The resolution of the photo doesn’t show it either way but I think there may be a little hole through which the tang of the cowling door hinge pin should poke. That’s frequent practice anyway and it might be worth a look.

There are two such holes. I think both pins are in their position. I’ll check next time. The hinge pins are quite long and it would be obvious if the were out.
OOPS. Looks like you’re right. THANKS.
