Pity the 737 Max didn’t show a barrel roll in the old Boeing marketing tradition, presumably a barrel roll would be outside the fly-by-wire envelope for the 787.

Beautiful! Boeing factory demo pilot must be one of the coolest jobs in aviation.

With the 737 flying so close behind the 787, shouldn’t it suffer from wake turbulence quite a bit?

Really impressive, though I think the apparently almost vertical takeoff is done with a long lens to compress the scene depth.

Yes, I suspect the initial climb is no more than 25 degrees nose up (which is still pretty steep).
