Yes; the search is not as smart as google 
I use e.g. video* which pics up “video” followed by 0 or more characters.
I think a Multimedia forum would be nice. Everything crammed in one thread is a bit messy.
PS: I search for the term “video” prior to posting this thread, but I didn’t find the random videos thread. I gave up on page 2. Now I realized maybe I should have added an “s” to my search.
Currently few people visit the IT/website section, and I wonder if anybody would visit a section called Multimedia?
Or we could have a new Multimedia forum and those threads could be moved there

Now… I could make these into stickies (so people knew they were there) but then we would get complaints about too many stickies
Should we have two extra categories in the forum for aviation videos/pictures of original content? Not reposts of funny videos found on YouTube, those could be posted in hangar talk. Something like this:
or one single category called something like this:
Maybe one of us has just recorded a video of a flight or taken some nice pictures and wants to share them without writing a complete article of the trip. I usually upload my flights to YouTube but I’m way too lazy to write complete articles.
PS: I’m not looking for shameless self-promotion, my videos are not monetized, I simply want to share my experiences with as many pilots as possible. I watch other pilots’ videos as well, I have learned a lot doing that.
