When I write D_A_(H) (without the underscores!!) in a post, the forum software displays just D_A, but when I write M_D_A_(H), it displays correctly.
What’s the deal here?
There is a wide variety of text processing that happens on the text you post. Most of the time it’s useful, like making something that looks like a URL clickable. Occasionally as here it has unintended consequences. I can’t remember off the top of my head which rule it is that’s doing that to your text, but it’s nothing sinister!
The simplest workaround is to put the (h) in lower case.
