Garmin will stop offering WAAS upgrades to GNS430 and 530 units from 31 August 2020 in order to preserve spares the the in-service WAAS units.
Repairs will continue to be available for non-WAAS 14-28V units and 16W 28V units.
Oh…I was planning on going this route but after having to put up money for an overhaul, I was going to wait a while. I guess I’ll just wait that bit longer and get an IFD440 now.

Have you got a link for that ? It may impact an upgrade plan we have for our last non-WAAS airplane and I cannot find anything on the Garmin website.
