I fixed atmilatos’ image link

No point in using imgur when you can upload images to the server.

This is indeed a historic time for Greek pilots… Will it improve anything?

I wonder if FRAPORT will improve this ( local copy ) which we GA pilots don’t see in Greece much since we usually bypass the airline passenger “cattle market” queues.

Greece is definitely not cheap for GA flying (any more). Corfu LGKR 1 day stop 200€ (landing, handling and whatever they invented) for DA42 (1780 kg MTOM). On top of that 137 liters of Jet A1 costs more than 200€. I yet have to see what Heraklion LGIR will come with for 4 days stay over.

LDZA LDVA, Croatia

Could you give a precise breakdown of the 200€ at Corfu?

Mainz (EDFZ) & Egelsbach (EDFE), Germany

I left the bill in aircraft – I’ll provide the details in few days.

Expect LGIR to have minimal state charges. Handling remains the same. Just delete the “Fraport” ones

LGMT (Mytilene, Lesvos, Greece), Greece

EXE – 25€
EXE WEEKEND AND NIGHT SURCHARGE – 5€
PPR – 61€
LANDING FEE – 71€
PAX TAX – 24€
CREDIT CARD FEE – 5€
Few other small fees – 16€

Total 207€

Dear @Emir
Which handler did you use at LGKR ?
Did you notify them more than 24hrs ahead ?
Was it a weekend visit ?
Was it a night visit ?
Were you IFR or VFR (I wonder is the “PPR” is for the SLOT arrangement) ?
How many passengers (non crew) ?
Did you have luggage that the handler had to carry ?
Did the handler issue one total invoice or was it Fraport & Handler separate ?
I ask all this not in the sense that you did something wrong but because they do have variations depending on the above.

Landing fee 71 : Fraport published price is 50. By assuming they add 24% VAT on it (same all over Greece) it should be 62 Euro
Any specifics there as to the 9 extra ?
Their airport charges here.
Check CFU (even though they are all the same for “Fraports”).

Handler’s charges are in paragraph 12.b of www.aopa.gr/Info
