For me the highlight of 2018 was the trip down to the little Greek island of Kastelorizo LGKJ. A couple of pics:

Flight over High Tatras
Those are amazing… About 10 years ago I planned a flight from Greece via Odessa, to Kosice, then to Prague, so quite close to this area. but it got cancelled due to a problem with Eurocontrol routings which could not be solved with the facilities I then had.
Peter – that would be a nice flight! Sorry to hear about cancellation, maybe you can plan it again.

I come from LKPR and lived near LKPM so this would have been my “local” area had my family not escaped in 1969…

London transit to end 2018, around this time of the year there is no way one can get the romantic view of the Shard building without a reservation, but as always you can just turn up and charm your way if she has a “nice pair of them”
On this flight I timed my fastest home-work commute, 47 seconds flying vs 15min by public trasport, 20min by car vs 30min cycling !
Theoretically, the former should cost me less than the annual oyster/gold card…
