Can pilots cope with regulatory freedom?

That’s so blatant, you wouldn’t stand a chance in any proceeding / court.

That may be true, but that isn’t the point. I posted that example (a while ago) as an illustration of a principle.

This well known chap charged his three passengers £500 each… So plug in £1500, and the numbers for the PA28, and see what numbers you get.

While piston charter is pretty well dead these days, there appear to be some people who will pay, presumably (as in this case) when the destination is a real bugger to reach otherwise.

Also this kind of illegal cost sharing would be done in cash.
