I wonder if the US GA scene has a higher age profile than the European one? Or maybe that magazine is just seen as a good place to reach the audience for the wheelchair?
I actually think they’re probably a little older in the US. Seems to me there are in general fewer recreational pilots in Europe, so when professional pilots have to retire there they probably just hang up their headsets. Neither continents provide a great correlation – seems very few professional crews fly GA in their spare time and could care less about it.
