All pilots would enjoy this movie – 7500. Most realistic depiction of the operation of commercial airliner that I have ever seen. Yes, its about a highjacking, and there is the serious question of why the hell didn’t the co-pilot kill the first highjacker with a few more dings on the head with the fire-extinguisher, but great movie nevertheless.

Really good film! Watched it last night. A lot of the speech is in German, and I only understood a few words from my school German class. But about 80% of the way through I realised I could use the Closed Captions to see the translations – it worked really well! I enjoyed the last 20% of the movie a lot more as I understood what everyone was saying. I think I’ll have to go back and watch it again from the start with the captions on :)
Watched it tonight. Pretty good with a few ‘shout at the screen’ moments. Will send it on to my A320 captain friend for critical appraisal!
