An interesting survey re the UK CAA

More data grab or a genuine attempt to assist GA?

More spooks than a haunted house. I really do need to get out more

It came up here before.

I don’t think it is run by the CAA. It is some organisation which is working to change the present CAA’s way of dealing with infringements i.e. an unaccountable judge, jury and executioner.

It’s run by the guy who used to run Panshanger before it closed.

He is, umm….. interesting.

Also, I don’t think his gripe is about infringements. His ‘CAA Complaints’ thing has been around for quite some time, before infringements became a talking point.

The story I heard is that they revoked some licence/authorisation/approval of his (flying, maintenance or training, I don’t know) and he’s been fighting a little one-man war ever since.

And that would be e very admirable thing to do. Issue with one man wars it generally it is all in your head. No one else really cares…
