Converting Garmin .GPX user waypoints to .CSV for Garmin Pilot

I have a dataset of user waypoints saved as a .gpx file. These are waypoints I collected making a flight guide travelling around Ireland. I would like to convert that file into the Garmin Pilot .csv spreadsheet format for user waypoints and import my user waypoints into the app.

I am sure I am not the first person to want to do this. Anyone any idea’s? I was trying a few things online but to no avail.

I’m not sure it’s the same format, but some years ago I converted the tracks and the waypoints (IIRC) from an old Garmin 96 handheld to a .csv file via the Garmin app that came with the 96. That app lets you export the Garmin data in various formats. It was a Windows-only app and I ran it on a Mac in a ‘Parallels’ Windows emulation. I then imported the flight data into the FF logbook. Needed a bit of tweaking but worked.

I can script it together if you give me a sample of both file formats.

Just to say @Dimme sorted that out in about ten minutes flat!

If you were transitioning from a Garmin handheld to the Garmin Pilot app this is a big thing to be able to bring all the user waypoints you have across.
