Cirrus SR20 flying from China to OSH

B-10VT, a chinese reg SR20 is flying from China to OSH.

ZSWA – Anji (N304749E1193523) – Douzhuang (N383351E1171842) – Zhaodong (N460735E1254623) – ZYHB – UHBB – UHMM – UHMA – PANC – PAKT – KBFI – KBIL – KFAR – KOSH.

So far they’ve made it to PANC smoothly.

This is probably the first time a B-reg Chinese single engine piston ever flies to the USA, and definitely the first time a Cirrus flies from China back to the US. The B-reg gave them access to Russia quite easily, but China being a “Special Interest Country” to the US makes it impossible to fly VFR in the States – all airports to be used/IFR routing/manifests have to be preapproved by TSA and FAA, which takes up to 5 business days to process.
