Funny registrations

I flew this one at White Waltham. The registration didn’t really help though. I still had to practice to do proper rolling turns and inverted spins.

Malte,

speaking of D-ENTE… the registration was later assigned again… to a C172 of an Aeroclub that I once belonged to…

Even more funnily, at the same time, this aeroclub owned (and still owns) a second C172, with a very appropriate reg….

Way back a British Company (I think) Robinson Jams whose Logo was a non PC ‘Gollywog’ and they put a ‘Gollywog’ cut-out under the lid of their Jams and Marmalade had a Corporate Jet:-
G-GOLLY or was it G-OLLI can’t recall. Seems there were two spellings.
I saw it at some air do many many years ago – sure it was G-OLLY
Took a picture at the time, but long since misplaced

Regret no current medical

From my memory it was more by way of a PA31 Chieftain than a corporate jet. It was often to be seen at Biggin Hill and Fairoaks.

Thanks Timothy @ #37. Yes, that was the one. Long time ago – everything was a ‘jet’ to me in those days!! She’s still there on G-INFO

Lovely example of non PC
