Hilarious reg today at EHLE:

D-ILDO

I saw it from the office window but was not 100% sure of the registration. The search results on Google were an eye opener

EHLE / Lelystad, Netherlands, Netherlands

Maybe this is the owner of Ann Summers?

This is odd though… DO28? Germany allows the re-use of registrations, evidently.

Certainly there is – it’s a Guernsey registration.

Some more examples here…

Just back from EGJB and spotted these – some may already be in the thread. (G-JOEY being a kids’ classic).

Here is 2-RICH in the flesh.

..and some more, including some SE Commanders which are very well maintained.

It was a joke – airways was saying you can never be too rich

Interesting to see ARM Aero Lifts have made it to Guernsey. They weight about 3000 lbs. I’d imagine the shipping cost might be a sizable fraction of the ~$12K basic cost. The photos are 2-Cool regardless.

I wonder what happened to the Navion Rangemaster that carried 2-RICH in I_Love_Flying’s post #79 linked photos? That would be a good airframe for long distance flying in Europe. Apparently you can reuse Guernsey registrations.
