Never thought of it (flew it a couple times though, and have a few hundred hours on the siblings SUEO and SUEI).
Definitely has to do with the name of the owner

@Noe Let me guess,
SUEM is multi with two egines working
SUEI is multi and has one engine working ;)
SUEO is single but one engine operative?

The lady i sold my DA42 to is much too kind to sue people and indeed it has to do with her name. SUEM can be read as ‘zoom’, and that is what that aircraft does!

Though there is a actual village called Hell only about 1 km from the airport. It has a railway station with the famous ‘gods expedition’ (meaning “freight office”).
