My training was mostly on D-EDMJ, a C152 based in EDMJ, Jesenwang.
No one on the area would be surprised, but flying further abroad, people wondered ;-)

Then they stopped wondering when seeing that you used only 1/10 of the runway length every time and didn’t notice if there was a car on the runway (I have flown from Jesenwang)

That is not a coincide. Both of my prior bases, EDWF and EDDV, had based planes with D-EDWF (an SR20) and D-EDDV (a C172) respectively. I read that D-EDWF had an accident in the meantime.
