Don't need a C206 or so to carry your Brompton

A folding bike in a folding aircraft? :)

EHLE

Ah, the Bromptons in the plane :)

Home runway, in central Ontario, Canada, Canada

It is worth noting that the Brompton World Championship is a fun event – and you can fly in. It used to be at Blenheim Palace, a few minutes by bike from Kidlington, and has since moved to Goodwood. Details Link

The BWC is extraordinarily eccentric in a very British way. Main rules: you have to wear a jacket and tie, and lycra is forbidden. The start is in the style of Le Mans, and with all the bikes folded. There’s also quite an extraordinary speed range, too. Past winners have included the winners of the Vuelta a Espagne and the 1 hour time trial champion. At the other end of the speed range you might find Oxford dons in their seventies and in fancy dress. I wonder if the move from Blenheim to Goodwood was on safety grounds. Did I mention that there are 800 participants?
