And here in Lelystad
JET A1 = € 1,507 per liter
AVGAS 100 LL = € 2,525 per liter
AVGAS UL91 = € 2,417 per liter
JET A1 international flights with AOC € 0,756 per liter

Just a one pound and a penny in Jersey this weekend and no VAT to add on or Euro 1.41 still with no VAT to add.

The bulk price of both 100LL and 91/96UL (including all taxes) in Sweden has dropped by about €0.15-€0.20 in a couple of months.

Interesting to think you can still get it at just 85 pennies in the US a litre but I guess given the additional transport costs and volumes involved Jersey compares very well, but that is around half current UK prices.

To get the full benefit of Channel Islands pricing you need to fly there with [ very nearly ] empty tanks and you know what has happened to quite a few doing that?

From the last 50 years, there is probably a line of twins on the sea bed, via ORTAC…

Surprisingly, Redhill EGKR is even cheaper:
Avgas 100LL is £1.28 per litre + VAT @ 20% = £1.54
JET A1 is £0.45 per litre + VAT @ 5% = £0.47

Biggin was only £1.51/litre from the AVGAS self-serve a couple of weeks ago

If your full load is 150 US gallons and you use 40 gallons to get there (most of the south) with some reserve at least you are picking up 100 gallons, around 365 litres which is around £200 saved so a free trip there and a bit of the way back. Push your luck or come from somewhere a bit nearer on the south coast and you probably get a free trip without too much risk of ending up in the drink.

I wonder if that formula is about right almost whatever the aircraft within a range of say 125 nm.

Not so sure the US is worth the trip unless you can tanker it back in some way :-).
