Probably, and it causes record high tides.
Not strictly related to the topic, but how do you like the gusts of 279 knots indicated in the top left corner, over the North Sea?

It was a strong storm but I do not believe into 279kt gusts on the ground/sea…

I’m not sure how 65 kts can gust to 279 kts; 79 makes sense and “2” is just a mistake.
Windy.com is forecasting a low with a surface pressure of 925mb south of Iceland on Saturday afternoon!!
The difference between these extreme highs (1050mb the other weekend) and lows (below 950) means you can probably measure the pressure differences between the two by measuring your tyre pressures at the height of the high and the low of the low :-)
921 hPa at 00z Sunday.

According to wikipedia, the lowest ever pressure in Europe was:
2 December 1929 at Stórhöfði peninsula, Heimaey southwest Iceland 920 hPa
With a forecast pressure of just 1 hPa more, just south of Iceland, Europa could be in for a new all-time record this weekend.
