On the specialised subject of colour coding, here is some history showing how one can screw up. One guy I knew in the US GA scene was convinced it was responsible for at least 2 fatal CFITs in the US (in its KMD550 incarnation). It is believed to have since been fixed. Admittedly only a muppet would use terrain colour coding for obstacle clearance but…
Looking out of the window from time to time when flying VFR might help :-/
That would be too easy.
I just bought Foreflight PRO PLUS – there is a month free discount code FLYDAY18 currently. So in total I got 14 months of FF for 211€ incl. VAT, that’s not too bad!
I wonder when FF will do the autorouting enhancements e.g. fly-by waypoints. These are really essential.
I agree and think they should add it promptly.
Hi Peter and Snoopy,
As I mentioned previously, requests for autorouting enhancements are on our roadmap. Due to several streams in motion at once, we have projects that are in progress before these enhancements, but we have heard the feedback and I will do my best to push the priority of these items.

DO you have any view when additional countries will be added to EU data ?
I am specially looking for BENELUX (Belgium – Netherlands – Luxembourg)

I do and all I can say is very, very soon. We are planning on rolling out additional countries quickly over the next months.
Keep an eye on our Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for more! I’ll also post new release notes here as soon as they are available.

Thanks for the update! The foreflight auto routing feature is ok so far, but adding a flyby point should be easy to implement (works well on autorouter.aero too).
I used the autorouter from the Azores all the way back to the UK last week. Perfect.
That said, an ability to modify the routes would be a great addition.
