I’d never thought of that.
There was a documentary about air rage etc in the 1990s, where the interviewed stewardess said their nuclear option was, “don’t make me get the Captain to come back here” (you could hear the capitalisation), but it only really works as a threat, because there’s a 50/50 chance of it making the situation worse by removing one of the pilots from the cockpit for an unknown and potentially lengthy period, and destroying the image of absolute power and authority.
