Are they still hand-drawn?
What criteria are used to draw two fronts almost on top of each other? It has no physical meaning, surely?
@Bookworm and @Mooney_Driver might know, as I believe they work or used to work in this area.
Not sure how the UK Met Office do those charts, looks like a model forecast. I would think though that all those charts are at least manually updated. Would mean a lot of precipitation…

When I see something like this, i always will crosscheck it with others such as DWD or KNMI
In theory you can have such frontal arrays, but most manual analysts would probably combine them. It’s been a while since I’ve done the analysis myself, but it doesn’t look impossible here, as you got some rather pronounced air mass boundaries involved here.
