All the pireps (a couple got installed in experimental aircraft) are that it really is a fantastic device
Fantastic in the literal sense of the word………..
Please note that this simulator software is approximately a 2.2GB download, so it is essential to have either a cable, DSL, T1, or T3 connection to successfully download this file.
Peter, you won’t be able to use your Thuraya phone for the download
Off topics comming to my mind – when I saw “20 minutes remaining” once I started the download of that 2.2 GB connected to my router via WIFI….Do you still remember the time when the update of anti-virus program was distributed by-weekly on 5.25 inches floppy disk using snail mail? I do not recall if it was 360kb or High density 1.2 MB…but it was still more practical choice and cheaper than downloading on 9.6 kb (kilo bit,not kilo bytes) on dial up…..the dial up was someting like 2 Euros per hour (pre-Euro times, of course), thanks got the flat fee allowing you to pay only 2 EUR per hours was gone with the wind…
