Recently the Aeroclub lost the instructor that did most of the teaching, so there’s an urgent need to replace him.
I’ll be honest. The economics don’t work out. Pay is not that good, and the cost of buying or renting a place to live has become ridiculous. It seems like the whole world wants to live here. But maybe it’s an opportunity for the following folks:
1. Some young guy or girl who can live with a relative here. It may even be instructing part time and be a ‘digital nomad’, very much en vogue here.
2. Some retired captain already being resident here or planning to become one.
There’s a great bonus. Getting to mingle with @Antonio and admiring his P210, the most pristine exemplar of the known universe.
@Dan, feel free to apply. No doubt we’ll find a spot for your machine. And we’ll get you an instructor license ‘Honoris Causa’ in a week. And now that your lovely wife is no longer tied to work, well..

Fortunately I have, over the years, come to recognise that my lack of patience would be a major obstacle for any kind of pilot instruction, and leaving a trail of strangled students in my wake would sure aggravate my grumpy old man reputation. So that is definitely not an option.
Another reject would certainly be the endangered reproduction cycle of certain Crustaceans caused by my mere presence in the vicinity.
