Small fee of 42% in my case. Does this fee apply if you use UVAir card?
Yes.
Any updates on Krakow EPPK?
Is it realistic to get parking PPR approved for a summer weekend in an SEP?
Is LS still the handling agent to refer to?
Recent experiences and price points?
I’ve only been there a few times, but my friend goes every two weeks or so. Last week he had to go to Pobiednik EPKP because there was no parking. If weather is not cooperating he sometimes lands EPKT and rents a car. LS is the right choice there.
LS didn’t answer my email requesting a quote, so I used “welcome airport services”. Their fixed fee, without VAT, was 240 PLN (approx 56.50 EUR) plus 50% for public holiday makes 360 PLN (approx 85 EUR; still without VAT). On top of that was a fee of 10% fee of the airport charges (13.72 and 137.20 PLN, respectively).
Total bill (without VAT) was 510.92 PLN (approx 120 EUR) for less-than-2t airplane staying on the parking for approx 2 full days (a tad less than 48h). VAT in Poland is 23%.
I got the parking permission 40 min after sending the request email, less than the requested 24h in advance, for what must have been a very busy extended weekend (1 November being a public holiday in much of Europe). It is plausible that is parking PPR requirement is founded in operational need; the handling agent said that about half an hour before I arrived at the airport for my departure, the parking was full and airplanes were queuing on the taxiways waiting for others to depart! I didn’t check exhaustively but I saw myself as one of two GA (smaller than airliner) planes at the airport. Looks like they should enlarge the parking, they need it for the airline traffic alone.
