Am planning a flight (theoretical at the moment) from LFHN to Weston Ireland to visit friends in Wicklow. Get this really weird IFR routing, any ideas what might cause this?
FL selected is 100 (optimized between 050 and 120). Am non turbo so don’t really care to go much higher.

Only response to this is LOL and +1.
In my experience, the best routes in Europe are found by Autorouter. It doesn’t always work but it is the best of every engine I have tried.
Fair point – off to eat some humble pie now…
The common denominator for all filed plans, they wont be flown as is anyway luckily sometimes.. :)
