Has anyone access to the POHs of specific PA28-models and could send these as pdf? I am looking for POHs of four specific serial numbers… I am aware that there are some random POHs available in the net thanks to Google, but I want to have the correct documents for the aircrafts I fly. I admit it might be a bit nerdy ;-)
My first step was to contact Piper in Germany but without success. They mentioned I need to buy them for $$$, but interestingly when I was looking for a specific POH for a Mooney i got the file within minutes. So I’m hoping for a ‘pragmatic’ solution…
Thanks,
Marcel
This is what I have – any good?

The “mm” is generally a maintenance manual. “pc” is a parts catalogue. Pilot handbooks are often found openly, using a google search with e.g. “.pdf” added.
I have a huge collection of manuals, mostly avionics, which have been circulating around the internet. It is not on any public site.
If the OP is looking for handbooks for specific s/ns why not fotocopy the manual which is in the aircraft.
@Peter – thank you for the list, it seems “my” piper models are not included
@Peter_Mundy – Indeed, but given the lockdown including the airfield closure I don’t have access to the airplane & POH inside.
Maybe I continue with tbe closest fit available in the www and double check later with the original handbook in the plane.
Thank you for your quick responses!
Best,
Marcel
What pa28 models are you looking for? You didn’t say I your post.
It’s incredibly unlikely someone will have the one for the same serial number but possibly the same model of you give the model you’re looking for.
True. It’s a PA28-161 Warrior III from 2007 and a -181 Archer II from 1989, but I guess I just go ahead with what I find on Google.
Is there any specific information in them you are looking for or just that you want to have them?
I’m interested in the take-off diagrams; I’m looking to get these calculations into Excel or exercising with Python. Basically a little project given the lockdown-boredom… ;-)
Surely the performance charts are the same regardless of actual s/n ?
true. next to the take-off diagrams the idea was to basically have the matching documents if it would be an quick & easy thing to obtain…
