Hello. Where I can find “screw” on KFC150 to decrease roll sensitivity ? Its banking too much and overshooting on GPSS stering or hdg mode.
You need to calibrate the attitude gyro to the KAP150 using the ramp test set and gyro tilt table. See the STC installation manual for how to do it. Don’t just start adjusting potentiometers to try and change system gain.
Ok, no tooling. I will just wait for STC and go to GFC500 :)
Doesn’t the calibration need depend on whether your KI256 is Mod 11 or not? The Mod 11 unit has buffered outputs and pretty well avoids the need for the calibration. They can just be swapped in and out.
On the KFC225, which is “digital”, the gains etc are in software but I guess the KAP150 will have trimpots.
