Recommendation removing avionics from the stack

Dear all,
I need a recommendation to extract my KLN94 from the avionics stack. Simply using a 3/32 driver didn´t really work to grip to the closing screw inside the device that it comes out by constantly turning. Do you know a ploy not damaging anything in the device or the mechanism itself?

Maybe the cam driven by the locking screw is stuck. This cam is on the bottom of the unit, fairly close to the front panel. If your KLN94 is not at the bottom of the stack, remove the unit directly below it. Then, through that opening (or all the way from below, if the KLN is at the bottom), try to reach that cam with your fingers and feel what it does when you turn the screw. Also, you don’t have to wait until the screw drives the unit out, you can just push the cam in and gently pull the unit out of its connectors (or, better yet, push it out from the back).

Remove the unit below in the stack and see why the cam is not disengaged, a little gentle leverage normally helps.

That cam arrangement can be a right little bastard
