This one is essentially identical to the EDM700. But they don't do the 3.125" version.
Like JPI, EI use K-type thermocouples but with a thicker sheath so they should last longer - at the cost of a slower response time.
The pricing is similar to JPI.
I recall that, some years ago, JPI sued EI, so there is no love lost between them.
Unfortunately JPI have a lot more approvals, and for the TB20 (GT only I think) the EDM700 is approved as the sole CHT/EGT instrument, so if you fitted the EI you would need to reinstall the crude factory CHT gauge.
